Furry Friends

Yep, I am back with anther card.......As a dog mom, I tend to gravitate to anything dog related so when I saw this stamp set from Simon Says Stamp I knew I had to have it.

I used the Stamp Doctor's A2 Layers combo dies to cut my layers.

I then stamped the image with Simon Says stamp Intense Black ink and stamped on Inkadinkado masking paper and masked the image.

I then used Tim Holtz distress ink in:

Chipped Sapphire, Mermaid Lagoon and Tumbled Glass to create the background.   It got a bit darker on the edges however I am ok with that.   Normally I would have embossed some white snowflakes in the backgound however I was making this around 1 AM and did not want to wake my husband with my heat tool so I left the background alone.

Once I had the inking done, I pulled the masking paper and colored the image.

Copics:

W1, W3, W5,
E31, E33, E35
E41, E43, E44
R37, R35, R59
YG67, YG63, YG17
E18, E15

Nuvo Aqua Flow Glitter Gloss Pen for the sparkle on the hat, scarf and antlers.

I then free hand cut some white glitter paper to create snow and cut a strip of cardstock for the sentiment and then free handed the fish tail to create a banner.

I hope enjoyed!

Festive Lantern from Sparkle N Sprinkle

I absolutely fell in love with the  Festive Lantern Digital image when I saw it on Sparkle and Sprinkle’s site.  It’s available in both a digital stamp format as well as Rubber Stamp.
I went with the digital version because I knew I wanted to enlarge it to sit on an A2 card base without much else.  I wanted simple and elegant and I feel like I achieved just that!

I colored the image with Copic Markers and prismacolor pencils:
Copics:  R59, R4, R37, R35, R32, Y35, Y38
Prismacolor Pencils: Raspberry  PC1030, Yellow Ochre PC942, Warm Grey 20% PC1051 and Warm Grey 70% PC1056
White Uniball Gel Pen
I cut my layers with the A2 Layers combo die set.
I printed the sentiment on vellum and wrapped it around the image.
I hope you enjoyed!    See you soon!

Santa's Clothes from the Stamp Doctor

Well, we are in the final countdown to Christmas and I am still trying to get out the last of my Christmas cards so I thought it would be fun to use Santa's Clothes Combo from the Stamp Doctor.

'

I stamped the coat with Simon Says Stamp Intense black ink and colored with Copics:

R59, R37, R35, R32
N7, N5
Y38, E99
C1

Once this was colored I ran it with the coordinating die through my bigshot.

I then used the Circle Frames set to cut the white circle and decorative mat with red glitter paper.

I then added some ribbon and enamel dots from my stash.

Lastly I added the sentiment which I just think is the cutest.

I hope you enjoyed!

Angelica Angel from Kraftin Kimmie- Kolour it Up Challenge

After being under the weather and taking several days off from my craft room I am back with a fun stamp from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps.

Tonight I started this fun image for Day 3

I hoped to get more of him colored up tonight however a long day at work meant for a little coloring, but even a little coloring is good practice.
